Timaru Stream

The Timaru Stream rises within the Pouākai Range in Te Papa-Kura-o-Taranaki (the national park) and is fed by tributaries along the southern side of the Kaitake Range. It flows through agricultural land to the coast, draining a moderately farmed catchment. The stream receives point-source discharges from treated dairy waste systems.
