Pūnehu Stream

The Pūnehu Stream is a ring plain stream representative of a south-western Taranaki catchment, primarily influenced by intensive agricultural land use. Water quality in the stream may be affected by diffuse source runoff and point-source discharges from dairy shed treatment pond systems. There are no industrial discharges in the catchment.
