Sulphur dioxide was measured from 1995 to 2006, mainly due to the presence of a number of industrial emitters nearby, including the Ravensdown fertilizer plant. There was one exceedance of both the daily and hourly sulphur dioxide guideline during this time. PM₁₀ was measured at this site between 1995 and 1998, and concentrations exceeded the daily guideline on a number of days during winter. Carbon monoxide was measured from 1995 to 2000, and concentrations were below the guideline.
