This week has seen multiple tragedies in, on and under the water around our region. All in different circumstances and locations but all have left family and friends grieving over the holidays.
Temporary rāhui are in place until 6 am Christmas morning:
- at the end of Days Bay wharf
- Camp Bay, south of Burdan's Gate, Eastbourne
- potentially Ngawi, Cape Palliser
Please be careful on or near the water; check forecasts, watch the conditions, be cautious near the water and be safe this summer.
