A large number of close to 500 delegates have already registered for the 2014 Freshwater Symposium to be held at the Blenheim convention centre between the 24th and 28th of November 2014.
This combined conference involves the coming together of members of the: IPENZ Rivers Group, Freshwater Sciences Society of New Zealand and the New Zealand Hydrological Society. The theme of the conference is: “Integration – the Final Frontier” and is all about improving collaboration between scientists, researchers and engineers working in water resources or freshwater ecology. There are at least 6 delegates from overseas attending and a plenary speaker each morning to stimulate thinking.
