Mangawhai Heads Beach - Community Clean Up Day

01 Apr 2023, 10:00am - 2:00pm Mangawhai Heads Beach Northland

The aftermath of Cyclone Gabrielle has left our beautiful beaches strewn with litter and debris. As much as we all love the beach, it is important to recognize the devastating impact that this litter can have on the environment and marine life. By volunteering for a beach cleanup, you can help restore the natural beauty of the beach and mitigate the harmful effects of the litter on the ecosystem.

Your efforts can help prevent marine life from becoming entangled in plastic debris or ingesting it, which can result in serious harm or even death. In addition to protecting the marine life, a beach cleanup is also an opportunity for you to connect with like-minded people and work towards a common goal of preserving our environment. Join us in this important cause, and let's show the world what we can achieve when we come together. With your help, we can make a significant difference in restoring our beaches to their pristine condition and create a safer and healthier environment for all.
