Join the Pit Park People, Department of Conservation, Te Manawa, Horizons and others for a fun community day to celebrate Pit Park as a ‘Wetland for our future’. There will be activities for the kids, useful tasks for adults and a chance to learn about the importance of Wetlands in our ecosystem.
Bring along water, sturdy footwear, old clothes and gardening gloves if you have them. And remember to be sun safe - SLIP on a shirt, SLOP on sunblock and SLAP on a hat.
