Dig in for Kahuterawa

16 Aug 2014, 10:00am - 12:00pm Kahuterawa Bush Reserve, Tennent Drive Horizons

Gather your friends and join us at Kahuterawa Bush Reserve for a community planting day and barbeque. Planting starts at 10. Come prepared with a spade, gloves and gumboots.

The Lower Kahuterawa Biodiversity Project is a partnership between Horizons Regional Council, Massey University, the New Zealand Defence Force, the C.T. Keeble Memorial Forest Trust and the Kahuterawa Bush Reserve Care Group to maintain and enhance the unique biodiversity values of Kahuterawa Stream. By joining this planting you can help restore habitat for rare and threatened native fish as well as a nationally endangered carnivorous snail and numerous native bird species.
