Waikato River at Lake Arapuni Arohena Campground 

This campsite is managed by the Department of Conservation and is very popular for water recreational activities.

During summer, blooms of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) can turn the water bright green. If the water is bright green like pea soup, stay out.
