Please be informed that there has been a consented discharge of treated wastewater from the Inglewood Oxidation Ponds to the Kurapete Stream as a result of high rainfall that has the potential to affect public health.
The discharge started on Thurs 3 July 2025 @ 1520 hours and is ongoing.
Warning signs to not swim have been erected at Everett Park entrance and by the main swimming hole and will be in place for 48 hours after the discharge has ceased.
