Lake Rotomanu is currently closed to motorised watercraft, following the discovery of the freshwater gold clam (Corbicula fluminea). This is an interim measure, with further updates to come. All recreational lake users are required to thoroughly Check, Clean and Dry anything that has been in contact with the water.
