Palmerston

A monitoring site operated in the winters of 2013 and 2014 on a low lying area near Palmerston Primary School. It was discontinued as results showed air quality in winter was generally good.

The highest PM₁₀ values occur in the built-up area of town. There is a low-lying corridor which runs through town from its southern end through to the northeast where PM₁₀ typically accumulates under certain weather conditions.
