Kaituna River
The Kaituna River flows north to the inner most part of the Pelorus Sound . Pasture dominates the lowland catchment with exotic forestry occurring at higher elevations. Schist is the dominate geology of the catchment. Rainfall is moderate with approximately 1500mm per year on average.
