Wairarawa Stream at Waiterere Beach

The Wairarawa Stream is publically accessible from the beach at Waitarere Township. It is generally an extremely small stream unsuitable for swimming or fishing, though the surrounding beach is suitable for picnicing, walking, etc. During summer this stream often shrinks to the point that it is no longer flowing.
