Pareora River/Pureora at Evans Crossing
The Pareora River/Pureora at Evans Crosing is the upstream site on this hill-fed river in South Canterbury.
This cobble bottom river is located in South Canterbury between Timaru, Cave and St Andrews. The Pareora River Walkway begins here and follows the river up towards the gorge and dam. Swimming is not advised at the dam.
