Lake Camp at main swimming beach
Lake Camp / Ōtautari is a small shallow high country lake popular for boating, located in the upper Ashburton Basin.
This site is monitored for recreational water quality during the summer months only.
This is a popular spot for power boating in a wide open valley surrounded by high hills and mountains. This shallow lake is relatively warm for swimming in. Toilet and picnic facilities are nearby.
