Tuapiro at Farm Bridge

The Tuapiro site is situated at the western end of Tauranga Harbour. In 2010, the site was shifted approximately 1km up the catchment in order to provide more reliable data delivery.
 
The area has an annual rainfall of approximately 1800 mm and daily falls of up to 230mm.
