Paraiti (Mangorewa) at Saunders

The Paraiti water level and flow recorder is situated in the mid Paraiti catchment some 9 km upstream of its joining with the Kaituna River.

Summer river flows at this site can get as low as 3.5 m3/s, but normal flows are closer to 6 m3/s. A high flood flow of 834 m3/s was recorded at this site in May 1999.
