Tamahunga at Quintals

The Tamahunga flow site is located off Quintals Road, north of Matakana.

 

The data collected is used for determining the water balance when estimating water availability
in the nearby Omaha Aquifer, and state of environment reporting.

In 2008 the site was upgraded from an original V notch control to a Broad Crested weir control
in accordance with requirements as outlined in the RMA.
