Meola

Meola Creek flow site is located on the western side of Auckland Zoo, off Great North Road.

 

The monitoring site was relocated 200 m downstream from its previous location in 1998. 
The Meola flow station is important in determining groundwater - surface water interaction and modelling. It is also used for quantifying flooding in the Auckland Isthmus area and state of environment reporting.
