Lower Vaughan

This flow site falls in the Vaughan stream catchment in Long Bay. The flow site has a concrete weir control and the upstream land use is urban. This is also a water quality and ecology site.

Lower Vaughan was commissioned to monitor water level and sediment runoff in the Vaughan catchment as part of the Okura study. Having the site established for continuous water level and flow is required as part of the long bay structure plan. This site monitors catchment changes over time as well as low impact stormwater design.
