Douglas Road Lower Volcanic

The Douglas Road Volcanic Bore is located in the road reserve on the eastern side of Douglas road approx 0.5 kms north from the intersection with Waiuku road.

 

The bore was drilled in 1979 to a depth of 108.2m. Bore Lithology is layered basalt. This site was automatically monitored from 1979 to 2001. This site is now manually dipped on a frequent basis.
