Orere River

Orere River is mid order, low gradient stream located near the southeastern limits of the region. Many of its headwater originate in the Hunua Ranges and it flows in a general northeasterly direction to discharge into the Firth of Thames. The catchment predominantly consists of rural pasture, with patches of native and exotic forest.
