This site is located close to the mouth of Anns Creek in the northeast of the Māngere Inlet. This predominantly muddy site is located in a heavily industrial catchment.
Anns Creek was first sampled in 1998, and monitoring has taken place every couple of years since. Monitoring has consisted of macrofauna, sediment mud content and the metals copper, lead and zinc, with arsenic and mercury included from 2012 onwards.
