Due to an overflow of partially treated effluent from the Porirua wastewater treatment plant, water quality may currently be affected at this site.
The overflow was very short in duration and the amount of effluent released was small. However, to be on the safe side we advise no swimming or other recreational activities in this area until 4pm Friday 17 March.
