Lake Aviemore at Te Akatarawa at Camp
Lake Aviemore is a large hydro lake with a number of camping grounds and boat access.
This site is monitored for recreational water quality during the summer months only.
Te Akatarawa is one of the many designated camping areas on the side of Lake Aviemore and is a popular place for water sports. The area is usually crowded in the summer holiday period.
