Warning – recent heavy rainfall has significantly raised lake levels at the Rotorua Te Arawa lakes. This has increased flood risk to lake users, properties and roads. Submerged structures and walkways should be treated as underwater hazards. Boaties need to be extra careful when putting boats in the water and navigating the lake edge.
